Administrator.uk is operated by S5 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16842049), with its registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this service.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and hashed password when you create an account.
  • Billing data: your payment details are collected and stored by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Alert preferences: SIC codes and webhook URLs you configure for notifications.
  • Usage data: server logs including IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps, retained for up to 30 days.

  • To provide and operate the Administrator.uk service.
  • To send you alert notifications and transactional emails (account setup, security notices).
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract: processing necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests: service security, fraud prevention, and improving the platform.
  • Legal obligation: where required by law.

5. Company data

The insolvency and company data displayed on Administrator.uk is sourced entirely from Companies House, a public register. This data is publicly available and we do not collect or store personal data about company officers beyond what is published by Companies House.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records for 6 years).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@administrator.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
