Corrections policy

administrator.uk publishes facts drawn straight from the UK public record: company and officer filings, charges, and official insolvency notices. We do not republish private opinion or commentary about individual companies or directors; we publish what the public record says, with a clear timestamp and a link back to the source.

When a page updates or comes down

Every per-company page reflects the public register as at the "last updated" date shown on the page. When a status changes, the page changes:

• If a company is rescued, restored or the administration ends (e.g. moves to liquidation, is dissolved, or returns to normal trading), the page is updated to reflect that, or removed if the company is no longer in administration.
• If an official notice we relied on is retracted, corrected or superseded, the page is updated to reflect the latest notice.
• If we determine a fact on the page is materially wrong(for example, a misidentified company or director), we will correct or remove it.
• Pending signals (Notice of Intention to Appoint, winding-up petitions) are never shown on a public page. They feed only a private alert to a subscriber getting alerts on their own counterparty. If a petition is dismissed or withdrawn, the alert is also withdrawn.

Reporting an error

Every per-company page has a "Report an error" link in its footer. Use it to flag:

• A status that's out of date (the company has been rescued, dissolved or otherwise changed status)
• A misidentified company, director, or appointment
• A wrong date, address, SIC code, or other field
• A duplicated or split page

We aim to act on credible reports within 5 business days. Urgent reports (an active error causing harm) are prioritised same-day where possible. If your report is from a person directly affected (you are the director, the company, or its administrator), please say so. We'll route it accordingly.

What we don't publish

• Predictive opinions about living companies: no "likely to fail" or risk-score verdict on any public page
• Unproven allegations: winding-up petitions and Notices of Intention are unresolved by definition; they stay private
• Personal data beyond the public register: no enrichment of individuals beyond what the public register discloses
• Speculation about cause: we report the public record, not interpretive narratives
